spark plugs

spark plugs

i have 90xxx miles on the WRX now and i realized i have never changed my plugs. is this a difficult job with them being on the side and all? are there any plug recomendations considering im looking at a vf34 w/ goodies?

You have to be somewhat careful, but it's easy once you know how to get to them. You get to them from the top by removing the airbox on one side, then the winshield washer resevoir on the other. One bolt holds the coil over each plug, then you can get to the plug. You'll want to have a good plug wrench with different length (short) extensions to get to it.

You might want to order an extra one in case you break one... I've changes about 100 plugs and broken 2... one of them on my WRX!
