My issues with Oil Consumption started in October, After two months of oil consumption tests it was found that a peice of cylinder 3 piston was broken off, the short block was under-warranty, the heads were cleaner/remanufactered, and TURBO was replaced due to fissures on the outlet. I am now having to replace short block components on a FACTORY SHORT BLOCK! Piston one is out of round!! Lets just say I am pissed and all subaru will give me is a free 60,000 mile tune up, but i have a NEW MOTOR, so all they are doing is free tranmission and diff. service.
Any feedback or similar issues with subaru please post.
Watch out, if subaru is putting out fatory block with out of round pistons what else are they overlooking???
