Shopping for Imprezas
I'm thinking about getting one, but the WRX is out of question as it is too expensive (used)
What about the reglar 2.5 imprezas? Does the SOHC really hold back? How well do they respond to turbo kits? Unreliable?
What about the previous gen Impreza, SOHC? Same turbo questions as above?

the 2.5 rs is a hog- not to speak bad of them, but they have their strongpoints. insurance will be cheaper, gas (prem not reqd), they do respond well to turbos however, to make it comparable to a wrx, there is a lot more to it than just the turbo- with the right combination the rs can be a lot better than the 2.0 wrx- but it will cost a lot- if that is your desire to put in a turbo and mods then you might just end up spending the same amount as if you were to buy a wrx-
