Quick question about oil and PCV valve

I am getting my 7500 mile service today and told the dealer that my 06 STI is about a quart low on oil every 3k. He, the service tech, told me "it was from taking aggressive turns and the boxer engine pushes oil through the PCV valve and comes out the exhaust". Is this an accurate diagnosis or is he blowing smoke up my ****? Please help me out.

He's blowing more oil than the quart your car seems to be blowing. I've never heard of such a thing. If you were losing oil through the pcv valve, you'd notice it.

I'm pretty sure the PCV valve doesn't go to the exaust. And I'm pretty sure lateral forces won't change the function of the PCV valve. So I think this guy is talking out of his anus.

Also, one quart every 3k isn't that bad...I think a lot of people lose that much in STis.

Crankcase vapors, including oil and unburned fuel (blowby) are drawn from the crankcase through the PCV valve by intake vacuum. From there the vapors are drawn into the engine intake and burned along with the air/fuel mixture. It ends up going out the exhaust system.

This is not the likely reason a car would burn a quart of oil in 3000 miles, though.
