WOW, OMGHI2U!!! Well there's the turbo and the different engine and the steering wheel and the color options and the price and the looks (hood scoop) and the side airbags and ...
not :ugh:
I guess I'm just grumpy today, but c'mon, at least put a little effort in to it. Try these sites:
1. www.subaru.com
2. www.edmunds.com
3. autos.msn.com
4. www.autotrader.com (use the comparison feature)
In that order. They should tell you all the basic differences.

Matt, if you don't have something nice to say...
researcher- (admittedly a poor choice of name... "curious" would have been more appropriate) here are the basics-
*WRX has a somewhat stiffer suspension
*Same transmission, different gearing. The gearbox is not "weak", it is just an old design and does not stand up well to abuse or poor driving skills.
*Larger brakes on WRX
*Rear LSD on WRX standard
*Wheel and tire sizes are the same
*0-60: WRX ~5.7, RS ~7.5 1/4 mile: WRX ~14.2, RS 16.0 both with 5 speed, and of course by good drivers

interior - 04 wrx has center tach, sports seats with integrated head restraint, momo steering wheel, aluminum pedals, wrx carpet, 6-disc cd changer/cassette player. umm...that's about it, i think. pick up the impreza brochure at a dealer near you and it has all the features in the back.

brochures can be downloaded too
from www.subaru.com
I drove the rs and its nice. but I knew if I bought it I would always secretely lust after the turbo intercooled wrx...and the upgrade/mods for the wrx are easier to implement.
The power is significantly different.
However...the rs should be easier and cheaper to own for a long time and is a pefectly reasonable vehicle.

thanks, when i get one i will most likely have it for a while and I figured that the rs with out the turbo and other extras would maybe be a little more reliable once it gets higher miles.
The biggest thing i want is the looks I love the bug eyes! I don't need all the speed it just gets me into trouble.
thanks again.
