Hi all,
I bought a 1995 Legacy GT at an auction yesterday, and have some questions:

1. What octane fuel should I use? Is 95 octane OK? (The car is a Japanese import, if that makes a difference)

2. There is some foam insulation stuff on the underside of the bonnet. Does everyone else's Legacy have this? Some of it is coming loose and looks like it might get in the way of some moving parts. Should I just remove it all?

3. The car has the shuddering/vibration problem that seems to be quite common (shuddering when throttle is about 1/3 the way down)
I searched the net and found a forum post saying that replacing the rear transmission housing would fix this problem. Has anyone tried that?

i know nothing about the Legacies, so I wont falsley direct you. But Ed Boon and John Tobias created a great character didnt they? MK rocks! or... rocked at one point! lol
