aloha Im new Just bought '05 Legacy GT Wagon
Aloha,
I picked up a dealer demo black on black 2000 miles on it. Its the sport shift/ auto model. I have never owned a car that was turbo or all wheel drive. Im looking into modifying the car but dont know where to start. I want to do simple mods that dont draw to much attention.
For engine and turbo extended life should I get a turbo timer? If so which is the best auto timer to get?
Im also looking to get a blow-off valve, even though its auto. Which valve is not going to mess up and reduce my gas and cause more lag. Im also not looking for somthing thats going to be really loud. Somthing nice that I can hear.
My head is going in all directions where should I start?
Please help me out and give me some direction.

Bigkahuna808....Not sure on the Legacy wagons parts availability, but I'd recommend modding the suspension (springs, sways, links) getting the car down a bit will make a noticeable visual difference. The new wagons look awesome when given a slight lowering.
I'd stay away from the blow off valve, do a search on them and you'll see why.
If the Legacy is anything like the Impreza, you should be able to perform a "Snorkle removal" in which it has the near same effect as adding a blow off valve. In other words, you'll hear more.
Subaru's can be tricky to mod, you have to have a plan. You can't get too far into them without remapping the computer.

yeah, I am discovering that right now. Im looking at a drop in blitz filter and after that maybe a turbo back or cat back exhuast, then Cobb tune. No blow off valve plan. Is that snorkle removal the same as the intake silencer removal. I might do this when I do my drop in, but dont want to void my warrenty.
