Price of a new WRX???

I stopped at the local Subaru dealer today. Test drove an '04 WRX in WRC blue w/ black int.
I liked it a lot better than the '03 WRX I test drove about 2 weeks ago. I was talking to the dealer. The sticker on the car says just over $25,500, but he is gonna sell it to me for $23,500.He says it's at invoice.
Also, there is a 1.9% or $750 cash back on all WRX's until March 31.
Is $23,500 an invoice price? Is this a good deal? Anyone know what invoice is on these cars?
Thanks for the help.

how many months of payment is that? Im thinking of a 20k loan right now for like 84 months with no early penalty but with 1.9% 23500 is tempting on something brand new. But the pay period might be shorter and i cant afford anything around or over 300/mo.

There is no certain financing period for it. Basically whatever you wanna do 48 months, 60 months, Etc.
Here's the link if you'd like www.MastroSubaru.com
The WRC blue one I looked at has a short shifter for $395 as an option, 6-disc CD in dash changer standard, power everything and a couple other do hickies.
It's pretty much well equipped.

I'm considering taking a plane to a different state if I can find a better deal elsewhere. If I can save something like $1500, then a cheap $200 (at the most) plane ticket and $50 for a cab wouldn't be a bad deal.
I'd do most of the paperwork/BS via phone/fax/mail and then fly up there. Finish the paperwork at the dealer and drive it home.
That way I get some "break in" miles too.
But it would have to be atleast $1000 saved to do that. Otherwise it's not worth it.

prez... you can definitely do better than that. i got mine at 21,900 (wagon with short throw, dimming mirror, and armrest extension) plus tax / license / financing at 1.9%
I still think I could have gotten a better deal if I had been more persistent, but that is water under the bridge.
also, check out www.kbb.com and look up invoice. their numbers are spot on for the most part

i also forgot to add that it took me like 4 hours to bring the price down to 23.5. first they would give me a price...i refused and said "i'll be back after lunch"....and they said "hold on, i'll go talk to the manager" etc...this happened about 3 times....i ended up eating lunch at 6pm although i drove to the restuarant in my spanking new wrx
Be shrewd...they like it that way!!!
