I've heard of it, looked into it, might end up doing it at one point to hide my macco paint job. Costs around 3-400 for the materials and sprayer to get a car our size done, can easily be taken off and redone which is nice. If you treat it well it can last a couple years but not too long and thats why I like it. I'm gonna do it and then hopefully by the time its worn out and time to rip off, I'll have money to paint it

Yeah thats my plan too! I think it would work nice as a bra as well, i like to time trial some sections of dirt roads with other subie owners in my town, and i think it would help keep the dings and crap to a down low, also maybe paint some themes? Diff stuff for diff occasions sounds pretty fun. My wife wants to do it pink for breast cancer month haha we will see though.....

I used plastdip for my 03 stockers. If you take your time and get enough coats with about 5 cans for all four.

Brfatal: haha!! Yeah it sounded a little crazy but i had to take it into consideration. I think i will do the rims to help protect it from the road grime, salt, mag chloride thats on the roads in winter.

There are a few on RS25 who have done it and a few said it doesn't last because it peels, but one guy said if you do it right, it will stick.

04GG, plasti-dip does not hold up well on wheels.

I wouldn't do a whole car, but I am going to do it on my fog covers because they are chipped bad.

I saw a VW bus in Redding that had been completely Line-x'ed. Actually looked OK.

I had my rims powder coated
