had to get the rally blue of course. black leather. any suggestions for the first mod? i was thinking turbo timer to keep her oiled up.

Buying the tt will be like throwing money in a toilet... unless you are just buying it for bling. :-) Your new WRX already is already set to cool down your turbo for you.

Several excellent first mods imo are:

clear bra (to protect front end paint chipping)
snorkus delete
rear sway bar and endlinks
get better tires
accessport/engine management

 

i didnt know that it cools the turbo for you. how does it do that? does the car stay running automatically? what is a snorkus? does the sway bar make a noticeable improvement in handling? because compared to my accord the rex handles like a champ right out of the box. ive never been a fan of lowering a car, in my opinion the handling improvements dont outweigh the increase in harshness and ground clearance issues. what is accessport? by engine management you mean computer upgrades right? would this entail a new chip or a reprogram or an add on module? i really need to read the forums more but its tough enough to keep up with all the new posts let alone go through all the old ones to find answers to my questions. the first thing im going to do is get my stereo reinstalled in this car, i got it uninstalled from my honda today. i am going to trade my avic n1 for the eclipse avn double din unit so it fits nice and flush in the dash. putting the mb quarts on ebay and getting some focals. its gonna rock. after that tint followed by alarm then performance. the other thing i want to do is gauges. i saw an awesome set on a used sti that went on top of the dash where the removable panel is, they were black when they were off and when you turned the car on they light up by black i mean you couldnt see anything. i havent been able to find these anywhere online. thank you for the replies. this forum is a wealth of information that i am only begginning to tap into. ill post pics when i get it.
