Need help on Sti pricing

I went to a subaru dealer yesterday and they offered me a 30,165 for a blue STI. It had few options like turbo guage, CF trim, room mirror deflector/ compass and some other stuff on it. But I don't remember. Is this a good price for a STI.

Wow, they offered YOU $30,165 for an STI? What did you offer to THEM for a STI

I think the initial rush for them is over and that prices are more realistic. Check out a site like Edmonds.com for MSRP and Invoice prices, then draw your own conclusion...

Decent price. I've seen most dealers now selling the car for in the 300-400 over invoice range. I'm sure you could talk them down to invoice, especially now in the winter and when it's close to the end of the month. Check edmunds.com for what the invoice price is with all the options and start your wheeling and dealing from there.

30,165 is 100 dollars over invoice. But I have a question. Is the invoice price the actual price that dealer pays to get the car from the factory?

I got qouted MSRP +fees two days ago, so yours sounds like a pretty good deal. I'm holding out for a better deal since there are like 5 suby dealerships in a 100 mile range.
