I need help pricing my car
Hey guys.
My subaru's been great to me, but I'm thinking about selling it. I've had my car in the classifieds for 4 weeks and I havent receieved any calls on it. I'm assuming I haven't received calls because the price isn't right. This is where I need your help.
My car is an 04 WRX automatic w/ the limited package. The car is in immaculate condition and it has 17" enkei RS racing rims. It has 86,000 miles. I'm asking $14,000 for it. Is 14k too high? What do you guys think I should price it at? Thanks.

Using the info (equipment, ZIP code, mileage, etc.) you supplied about your sedan, I plugged it into the used vehicle calculator at Kelley Blue Book (www.kbb.com/) and they came up with:
$14,090 for excellent condition
$13,000 for good condition
$11,555 for fair condition
Your asking price is in the ballpark but could be that no interested parties in your area saw your ad in the paper.

I think one of the problems is that its a 4EAT. Most people looking to buy a used WRX want it for the performance aspect, which the 4EAT sadly takes away from. I know had I had a choice between mine and a manual, I would have taken the manual

its funny because for a new car AT costs more, but with a used private sale on a sportier car, an AT will most likely lower the cost due to being less desirable
