I just purchased an STI, and I've read that synthetic oil isn't that good for an STI. Is this a bunch of @#$%? I've used Mobil 1 in my 02 rex, and with the exception of 1/3 quart gone each oil change I never had any problems. I know that turbo cars usually use a little oil between oil changes, so that doesn't concern me, its the talk in the NASIOC pages that makes me second guess in using Mobil 1. Thanks.:argue:

 

I've used mobil from the start, about 46,xxx and it's fine

 

I guess, it all depends on how you drive and who you've talked to
