Question Labor costs at Dealership

For the sake of keeping up with the cost of owning a rex, I asked my dealership, Maita Subaru, for their hourly rate. It is currently $95.00. Is this pretty ballpark as far as dealerships are concerned? What do the "mom and pop" operations charge? Thanks!

there are a lot of great shops in the bay area and their rates very depending on what you want done. If you call them up on a slow week you might be able to talk their price down.

gruppe-s, MPJ performance, and Fineline are just a few examples. Im not really sure how great the shops are in sac, but i hear a lot of great things about the bay area shops.

in AZ the average hour is $90
CA is a lot more
dealers will always get more cause, you expect them all to be more professional
people like to stay away from mom n pop shops becuase they think lower price = crappier service. but i know lots of good local shops, but there rates are only a little cheaper....
