Car Info: Comeback?
If you can find that info, i would want it too...I would really doubt you will be able to get an 05 STi for $27K...the people getting STi's for under $30k were prolly getting 04's...the best price i have ever heard on an 05 STi was MSRP + tax, license, etc...and MSRP is around $33k with NO options...then again, i am out here in Cali, so demand is a bit different...good luck

Oh yea, and i know you already know this, but demand really makes it hard on people like you and I who dont wanna pay MSRP for this thing...when the 04's first came out, people were even paying a markup over MSRP for the STi....so you can expect the same situation for the 05's and if you dont like, which i dont, we will have to wait....

05 sti

Yeah I don't think anyone got 05 for 30k. Remember 05 invoice is more than 30k, it's up $1k+ from 04.

^^ I hope you got that in writting, cause as soon as you show up with proof, he will supposedly have forgotten who you are and not honor it....

You will not find anything on the 05 STi's...they are too new...and like he said above, you will never get anything in writing either...however, IMO i do not believe that the dealer paid over 30k either...msrp on an 04 was $28,695 or sumthing like that, so adding $1,000 to that would be less than $30k still...good luck with ur search...

put it this way. . . the invoice for an 04 is around 28k. . . 05 models are more expensive than the 04's. no dealer is going to sell them cheap. . . at least for a little while. try costco pricing. if you have a dealer that is a participant in the costco program. . . u get it around 1000-1500 above the dealer cost which they are leagally required to show you(their actual invoice receipt).
good luck. with that price of 27k u will have better luck on an 04.
go to subaru.com and u will see that the msrp is higher than the 04 models.(due in part that the rims are now 8 in and they have a stereo(panasonic) and the keys are also chipped. . . and the e-brake/dccd controls have been relocated. we now have a u.s. spec e-brake

hope that helps.

if we had scoobys i'd be all over it. . .
however no dealership in their right mind will send you a document showing u their cost. its like circuit city sending costs of their products to customers. its just bad business practice.
like i said above. . .costco programs require we disclose our actual cost(when car is selected and commitment to buy is consumated).

hope that helps too
