That's a hella good deal. I'd take it if I were you... I wish dealers around my area were making deals like that, all the ones I've been to seem to want MSRP or nothing. With the STi's I expected this but not with the WRXs. I've laughed my way out of the dealerships and told them that I'd rather drive to NY or CT where I can get them for around invoice.

I've read some posts from other people about Suby dealers wanting to either make $$$$ from selling cars at MSRP or nothing from no sales... what's up with that? It's supposed to be able negotiation people!

That sounds like a good deal. I just got basically the same car, but with the premium package. It was invoice less the $750 and 3.9% financing. I just wish my commute to work was a little longer. :-)

I just got mine(04 WRX wagon 20miles same packages as you) and paid after rebate 23,200 and thats with some wheeling and dealing, so I think you are pushing it by trying to get a lower price. Subaru dealerships are known not to sell under MSPR so I wouldnt push it.
Instead of going for a lower price ask for a short shifter or something.
