How bad is it if?...

I just finished my timing belt replacement and while I was cleaning up I found a part that I forgot to transfer to the water-pump...the rubber seal that goes on the side of the pump.

How bad is it if I leave that out?

Or is this something I should take everything out and put in ASAP?

Unfortunately, Subaru engineers did not design the EJ series motors with spare parts.
