Good bye Integra Nation....Hello STi....
My 4door Integra LS has been one hell of a ride, but its time for both of us to move on. For the past 4 months I've soaked up so much scooby knowledge from you all it makes my head spin. At first I was only looking into a MY05 WRX until I got a sweet promotion. So I decided why not reward my efforts with a spankin new 2005 WRX Sti? So I've done my homework on the car, and requested invoices from literally every dealership in Northern cali.
Sam Levy over at Livermore subaru has a CGM WRX STI 2005 STi w/ no options on it for:
2005 STi
$30255.00
$45.00 doc fee
$253.00 dmv
$2348.25 tax
$32906.25 out the door
Do you guys think this is a reasonable price from which to start negotiations? Naturally I've sent all the dealers the email I got from Sam to see if they can beat the deal. If you think I'm getting shafted, do you know anyone that could hook me up with a deal? Thanks in advance.

somewhere in between
You should be able to get somewhere in between. He's not holding 2000 dollars, so if you offer 30,255 out the door, he's just going to laugh at you and tell you the price is final. He's got another 400-500 though before rock bottom on an STi
Sti profit
you could probably get him to throw in the STi shifter with that. I would try for that, since the labor can be expensive if you have to pay for it, and the shifter is probably the best $300 mod for that car on the market (sorry Kartboy).
Figure with the mats, the armrest extension, and the other accessories, you've only got a couple hundred dollars of room left really. Try for a short throw IMHO. see above. I just put mine in, and it's pretty awesome. definately worth every penny.
This, of course, is just one lowly man's opinion. Take it for what you will
