Normally I fill up right when the gas light comes on. Depending on how I drove the car, that's usually between 290 and 320 miles. When I fill up, it's almost always 13.9xx gallons.

So, if you take the current price for Supreme (91): $2.499
And multiply it by 13.9: 2.499 x 13.9

== $34.73

is about what I usually pay.

I average 23 to 25 mpg but my car only has a little over 4k miles. I'm hoping this gets better as I get a few more miles on it. If anyone has a Costco near them (I'm in MD) get a memebership it's worth it for the gas discount alone. This assumes that the Costco sells gas at that location. Last fillup was $1.85 for 93 octane. They only offer 86 and 93 and my rex loves the 93.

do you guys notice a performance difference with different gas companies (ie. Costco vs. Chevron, Valero vs. 76...etc) All my friends say that they see a performance difference and better gas mileage depending on the company, but i dont really think it makes a difference....or does it?

Some of the guys I work with were trying to give me a hard time about the WRX (I guess they felt like they had to at least make the attempt), and the best they could come up with was the need for premium gasoline. Right now 93 octane is $2.00 while regular is about $1.80. Gimme a break - like $1.80 is cheap!

My last tankfull was 14.2 gals at $1.999 for $28.39, 297mi on the previous tankful for mileage of 20.9, all city driving.

what do they drive? A lot of cars now are requiring or heavily recommending >91 octane fuel. This includes the Integra GS-R (92 up), the RSX-S, the 97/98 (probably 95/96 also) 240sx, etc. So no big deal
