Question Fumoto drain plug question

I'm thinking about installing a Fumoto drain plug on my 03 wrx, but I have that wire for my oil gauage attached to the drain plug.

Any suggestions? Please help. Thanks.

the only thing I can think of is that you'll have to tap another hole into your oil pan and somehow weld the oil temp wire there...

I don't think you can fit the wire into the fumoto valve, but I could be wrong...

You'll have to choose one or the other, you can't have both the Fumoto and the oil temp gauge. The sensor/drain plug is an integrated unit.

I ran into this exact same dilemma with my factory 3-gauge pack with oil temperature sender in the drain plug. I decided that the ease of draining oil was worth more to me than the factory gauge that doesn't even register during light load and cooler weather. I just secured the wire with nylon ties out of the way but left it hooked up to the gauge.

Alright, what you need is the Oil Galley plug for the block. Mount your Oil temp sensor in there and mount the FUmoto in the pan.
