Angry Forgot Timing Procedure

I replaced a water pump on my 96 2.2. During the installation I goofed up big time by not marking the timing belt to the crankshaft and cam pulleys. Can someone enlighten me on the process to get things lined up again. Thanks.

I did the same thing.
buy a new belt and line the notches on the pullies to the marks.
lets face it man, when are you gonna have it appart again? Might as well replace it while you have every thing appart.

Talking I hear ya but.....

I replaced the belt about 20K ago. It's fine. I remembered what marks to line up, finally. THe dots on the pulleys line up to the notches on the covers, right? I was lining up the groove on the pulleys to the notches. WRONG! Took a couple cold ones to figure it out. Oh well, will finish it tomorrow. Thanks for the reply.
