downpayment
how much did u guys drop for the downpayment on your sti?
i'm thinking 1/3 of the total cost (around 10k) is sufficent for managable montlhy payments (below $550 a month)

It also depends on what your financing will be like. For my credit union, in order to get the 4.5%APR, I have to put down 20% of the total sale (about $33000), so roughly $6600, and my payments would be about $420/ mo.

Um...no...my credit is actually quite good. I don't want to spend time shopping for awesome interest rates (i.e lower than 4.5%), our dealership hewre doesn't do much with financing (they like it more if you have your own pre-qualification), and I have been with my credit union for almost 10 years. Nothing to do with my credit score or anything like that.
