I didn't get the letter (as I don't own either of those vehicles) but it seems like a little guide wire has a tendancy to slip off track and make cruise control go to WOT.

The warranty fix is supposed to be just a little clip that helps hold the wire in place.

i didnt need the letter i just took it in, and they automatically rpelaced it, i went in for the clutch judder and they fixed that at the same time

That'd be a pretty scary problem, getting stuck on WOT. I got my letter today and I'm going in to get it fixed ASAP.

Just got mine in the mail last night. I made my app. already. The guy at the dealer said to me...you mean the cooling system? Ahhh, no.. the cruise control. I hope there isn't a cooling issue.

yeah my cooling system was weird. the reserve tank would not fill, and i had leaky residue all over the top of the radiator

I haven't received any information on this either for my '05 STi. I think there is a section at www.mysubaru.com that does list recalls though. I'll have to check that out.
