Angry Check Engine Light???

i have a check engine light on with no symptoms, about a quart low on tranny fluid, took to auto zone to get a code and they said that it wasn't giving a code. Recently ran about 2 quarts low on oil for about 6 weeks maybe, added oil checked all other fluids, accelerates well, and idles well. Any suggestions before i go give a buncha cash to tha dealership.

Doesn't make sense that they found no code. Is it on steadily all the time, or flashing?
The low fluids, while not a good thing, would have nothing to do with the light coming on.

You need to find someone with a better scanner. The one at Autozone might not be able to read certain manufacturer-specific codes. Maybe check in with your regional forum, try NASIOC as well. Someone nearby is bound to have a scanner that can pull those codes. I'd help but I'm in NY, a bit far.

maybe an oxygen sensor, that light not flashing would have to do something with emissions.

When the light is flashing it indicates a real-time misfire. If it is on steadily it means that a code has been stored for one of over a hundred possible parameters.
