cant change my tranny fluid need special tool

the 2007's require a torx bit to remove the oil pan plug, size t-70 to be exact.

anyone know where to get one locally?

just give a call to the usual suspects - sears, harbor freight, OSH

I finally changed my tranny fluid today. my buddy thats works at subaru had the bit I needed(T-70). this size torx bit is almost impossible to find locally..

The bolt on older years is a 21mm on my 07 it requires the "T-70" torx bit to remove the "clutch housing" drain bolt.

Order in advance.

Shipping's gonna suck on a $5-10 item, but still it'll be way cheaper than $40 for snap-on. And it's not a bolt that should be torqued hard, so it's not like you need major high quality on this.
