F*** I hate the Subaru dealer I am dealing with... So I am at the dealer in San Jose Stevens Creek Blvd. And at first for a new 06 STi the salesman quoted me 37k... I WAS LIKE OH HELL NO!!! we talked a little and he went down to about 36k, talked some more and he came out with a final price of 34.7k out the door. There is NO WAY IN HELL IM going to pay close to 35k for a STi. I told him I talked to my co workers and people on the forums and people have said they have gotten it for 32-33k out the door, he said NO YOUR BS'ing me. He said there is NO WAY he can lower the price any more... What should I do? Cause I really want to buy this new STi, but not for 35k out the door. Does anyone have any hints on what to do? I asked him to at least go 500 bucks under invoice and take off that 625 delivery fee, he said NO WAY, and on top of that im paying 35k for a new car and you cant throw in free floor mats? he said NO... Now I'm just like WTF!
If your guys got any opinion on my situation please leave your feedback. 35k for an STi seems TOO HIGH.

So I did what you all said and went to Carlsen and talked to them for like 30 min and immediatly they dropped the price down to 34.1k out the door. But man 34k is still a lot for a suby. I dunno what to do!!! I WANT THIS CAR BAD!!!
try for 32k. 34k ain't tooo bad. my dealer stole some floormats out of a wrx for me
you can try senator imports on florin rd in sac. they should give you a good price, they don't sell too many ( i used to work there) i'd hook you up with the sales manger, but he left

You have to pay taxes in the state you register the car = California.
Stay away from Stevens Creek.

dont EVER, EVER, everevereverever....EEEEEEVVVVVVER go to Stevens Creek Subaru FOR ANY REASON! They will screw you over no matter what you are buying, whether its something as simple as an oil filter, or a whole car.....NEVER go there. Unless you like getting bent over and WAY over charged, or like having your car scratched and dinged up during a normal "routine" checkup, then having them tell you that it was like that when you brought it to them.
