Buy it in the 5-quart jugs at Walmart. That's the only time I shop the walmart. Costco used to be cheaper but they jacked up their prices.

4 cups=1 quart
1 cup = .25 quarts

take out just under 1 cup and you will be right at 4.8 quarts.
If you want to get real accurate then go with 3/4 cup (.1875 quarts)

No different than using 5 1-qt bottles. Fill it until the bottle is getting low, run the engine for a few seconds to fill the oil filter, wait for the oil to drain back down and then top it up to the right level on the dipstick.

I usually check the level again (and for leaks) a couple of days later.

I pay 27 bucks plus tax for 6 quarts of 5w30 at Costco. Recently everyone has had to raise their prices on oil, a new tax was introduced or an existing tax was increased (one or the other I don't remember), at least in CA...

costco is the cheapest for the individual quart bottles, but nothing beats the 5 qt jugs at walmart in price/quart
