Exclamation After Market Tachometer Help!!

someone please help me out. i bought an aftermarket 5 inch monster tach for my 2000 subaru impreza outback. its the 2.2 L. i cannot find the wire that control the tach in the main guage pod so that i can make both work simultaniously. can someone please instruct me on how to make this work?!! i looked around on the site and i couldnt really see anything pertaining to this, granted i didnt search the whole site because that would take a week. this place is great though.

It's pretty easy. You gotta find a shop manual. You just need to tap into the RPM signal wire. You can do it anywhere. On the ECU side, at the coil or near your OEM gauge cluster.

i cant find that rpm signal wire. on the coil pack, there are 4 wires, i tapped into each one, one by one, and the tach would not read the rpms.

Check out www.scoobymods.com. If there is Apex-i Super AFC installation instructions, they should work for you.
