I just hit a little over 20,000miles on my 04 Subaru WRX.
I have done the usual oil changes as normal, and I have not usde Synthetic oil yet.

QUESTION:
with my mileage, what kind of service should I do now?
e.g. change diff and tranny fluid? or replace fuel filter? replace air conditioning filter?
any other ADVICE besides from what is in the Subaru booklet would be of much appreciation.

the booklet that came with your car has everything you need to know.

tranny, diff, brake,engine coolant are not necessary to change until 30,000.

if you feel like doing them early, it won't hurt. some people like to do it earlier than scheduled.

for the tranny fluid some people make a cocktail of dino oil and gm syncromesh.

and it's about time to switch to synthetic motor oil. i switched over at 15,000 and it felt wayyyyyy better.

i just wanted advice from other people on maybe other things they have done so I could do them as well.....
