2006 2.5i...black or white?

Ok so i'd like some feedback from owners out there. I've loved impreza's for a few years now and am now in a position to buy one. I can't make up my mind on color though. I have it narrowed down to black or white....any opinions?

Smile Can't go wrong!

Hello!

New to the site here too, although not new to loving Subarus. Unfortunately, I have never seen the both together. I have seen a white wagon and a black sedan seperately around town. Both looked great. The white really pops out in a crowd. The black looks very sleek. I just picked up my steel gray 2006 2.5 wagon this afternoon. Personally, I think either way you'll be very happy! The car definitely put a smile on my face!! Unless, of course your previous car was something really magnificent. Mine sure wasn't, glad I picked up the new 2.5! Good luck!

Black is like owning a boat, the two best days of owning it are the day you buy it, and the day you sell it. If you like washing cars, black is your color!

If you want to "pretend rally" on some lonely dirt road and actually have a car that still looks good afterwords, get white!

After having owned 3 diffrent reds (Bright, Dark, deep) and black and blue and a white I can say that I will never buy anything other then White or Silver.

I concur. I had a black bugeye WRX that was a p.i.t.a. to maintain appearance-wise. Unless you have the resources to get the car waxed monthly and washed weekly, go for the white. Although my white STI shows dirt more quickly, it looks like it just came off the showroom floor after every wash, which is something I can't say about the black WRX I had.

Anyhow, with either color, congrats on finally deciding to get a real car.
