02 wrx turbo

I have a 02 wrx and I am wondering what the stock boost reading I should get off the boost gauge. Also when I step on it should the turbo boost go up and down or just hold at like .05 bar or .1 bar? Mine seems like it moves alot It will go up then down some then back up.

Thanks for the help

It's normal for the gauge to move around as you drive, and apply varying amounts of throttle and load.
At idle, light-throttle cruising and decelerating it will be in vacuum.
Part-throttle boost will be around .05 (which is the wastegate pressure @7psi), as you go past 1/2-2/3 throttle or so it will increase to the maximum of about .09/13 psi.
You won't see maximum boost in 1st gear, and also it will drop off in the higher gears at higher RPM.

when in higher gears should the boost gauge move from .1 then down to like .05 then back up to .1?It seems like the boost is there then its gone then back again. I just bought this car last moth so just want to make sure its running right for 47k miles.
