I have an EJ253 motor from my 2006 Impreza 2.5i. It was pulled with 93k miles on it and had a failure in the bottom end, most likely a spun bearing but I have not torn it down to inspect. This engine is complete aside from p/s pump, a/c compressor and alternator, it has a full & uncut wiring harness with all sensors still in place. The two rear motor mounts are included as well and both are still in very good condition.

This would make a great donor parts engine for someone who repairs Subarus or is looking to build a performance n/a motor. The heads are in great shape as well as the intake manifold and throttle body. The block is probably still useable, it would just need to be checked by a machine shop. Also the crank, pistons and rods may still be good, but not sure unless it is dismantled.
