Is your draw-Tite hitch crooked?
I just installed a Draw-Tite 24710 hitch on my WRX wagon and after I installed it I noticed that the 1 1/4" receiver is welded on crooked in relation to the hitch frame (and in relation to the car). It's not that bad, but I noticed it right away. Trying to decide if I should exchange it for another one. It wouldn't make a difference towing, but I don't want my bike rack to sit slightly to one side. I ordered it from E-trailer so I would have to deal with mailing it back, what a pain!
Is anyone elses Draw-Tite hitch like that? I don't want to exchange it and the next one be the same. Maybe I should have bought a factory hitch.
I did manage to get the exhaust to hang fairly straight by reusing the hanger bracket even though the instructions tell you to bolt the hanger directly to the hitch. I had to use a chaff pad with this method though.
Cheers!
