I was on 405s going to the GM Autoshow in Motion event back in Feb and I saw a girl driving a black STi. I turned, my jaw dropped, and it was one of those homer simpson moments. She flashed her emergencies and peaced out, while my jaw was still dropped. She definitely left an impression with me. If you are the girl and you read this, I just wanna say hello, and big ups.

If anyone has seen Initial D... where Maya (sp?) (with the "sil-80") is talking about how you can't be a racer and have a boyfriend and that whole speech... She's dead on right. Everything she says in that speech is very accurate.
In my experience... guys think you're "way cool" to be a girl that’s a racer and into cars and all that, but in the past 4 years I’ve been doing this... not one has asked me out. Guys want a girl-friend that's into cars, but a girlfriend/SO that is a cute little Barbie twiglette that doesn't know the first thing about cars.
Guys always talk about how cool it would be if their GF is into cars, but the truth is guys just want a girl that will stand next to them and look cute.

Not saying that is all I look for in a relationship, but it is definitely an important factor being that I am a very sensual creature. Cool women are where it really is at. Trophy brides are lame and just will make you realize that life is long when you make the wrong choices. If you can not enjoy something with your sig other or if he/she doesn't respect your passion then the relationship is doomed.
Trust me, I have lived this and finally have figured out that important points are what I have mentioned above. Watch out gravelGirl, if I see you at any shows I will break that streak of yours. How does "Wana drive a 400WHP STi?" sound as a pick up line? lol
