I got to drive a WRX ESX (Easy Street Performance) unit at Mastro Subaru in Tampa. Mastro is one of the USA's oldest Subaru dealers and they know their cars. Anyhow, this car was stage one, street legal, at 365 HP. It was so much fun. I have had Porsches, MB, and currently own a Jag S Type R 390 HP. The Subaru is faster on a straight line than anything I have owned. I really do not need another car now, having just bough an Outback VDC. When Subaru puts an SMG tranny in the WRX I will have to buy one. If you are ever in the Tampa area, visit Mastro Subaru, perhaps the best car dealership I have dealt with in 40 years of owning cars.

I'll second that sentiment about Mastro, I just bought a new 2005 STi (the last one they had) and the experience was nothing short of incredible.
...that is until I lost it fooling around on a rainy day and crashed into a tree a week and a half into owning the thing :P
