you do realize this is a remake to the original '78 version by George Romero. it's a sequel to Night of the Living Dead.

Ah, no wonder that WRX commercial appeared on their bedroom set near the beginning of Dawn of the Dead - the movie's director, Zack Snyder, also directed that particular WRX commercial spot for Subaru.

It's been previously documented on the 'net and IMDb but the the director himself verifies this fact on the Dawn of the Dead DVD commentary track.
