Will 2003 / 2004 WRX get 6 Speed Tranny for U.S. Models?

Will 2003 / 2004 WRX get 6 Speed Tranny for U.S. Models?
Anyone know this? I know the WRX STi version for the U.S. will have a 6 speed tranny with other upgrades in summer of 2003, but what about the regular WRX? Will it still have a 5 speed as well?
I'm debating on whether to by a stock WRX and Mod it, or buy the WRX STi version. A 6 speed tranny is a tempting prospect.
