Will a 12 inch sub effect the handling of my Rex?

Hi guys! Just wondering what your thoughts are on having a single 12" sub woofer in the boot of my 2005 wrx sedan? Will it effect handling and/or suspention consonants over time? Cheers!

Ps. Wouldn't want a sub any heavier than 20kg :P

I have a pretty heavy 12 sub with a ported box and it doesn't seem to affect anything handling wise..

I went to a track day with 3 10's in my trunk with my old wrx and it was fine.

It would depend on which way the surgery goes. Adding or subtracting weight.

I've had a JLw7 and a Type-X in the trunk both extremely heavy subs. Just strap it down.

Sweet! Well I have nothing in my boot atm so it should be alright if I strap one in also getting a rear strut brace so that'll tighten things up a tad

They were old mtx 3000's in mtx's triangle shaped box. I had them from years ago, nothing special, but sounded okay to me. The box fit great back there not taking up the whole trunk which was nice.

Just unplug the subs and leave them at home for track days
