I have a 2k2 WRX wagon with about 29k miles on it. I keep having the sort of problems I can't solve with parts of my car I don't know anything about. Every once in a (long) while I get a wierd knock/ping from the rear right side of my car. It doesn't happen with any regularity, and it might even be rocks getting kicked into the wheel-well, but I wanted to know if anyone else knows anything about it.

Before I had a problem with my AC (that I still haven't fixed) that someone said was a TSB issue. What are the chances this is too?

I have the same thing , same side of the vehicle, nearly the same car/mileage. its a WRB wagon..knocky-pingy-clucky sound, although quite faint. I feel I know these cars pretty well but this ones got me stumped so far.

My closest guess is that it could be the dust boot on the strut rattling around...just dont know.. but if i figure It out I'll get back to you..its drivin me nuts!
