I live in Tucson Arizona and When the temps get above 90 I notice my engine begins to knock and ping even when running 91 octane. I went up Mt. Lemmon the other day (109 degrees at the bottom - 83 at top) and it sounded like a diesel until I reached an altitude where the outside air temp was 90 degrees. Anybody else having predetonation issues in high temp situations? Any solutions? Thanks!

My 03 drive like crap in hot temps. like that. I live in the Central Valley and it gets up to about 105...any hotter and the car drives very sluggish, especially in Las Vegas...i would have an aftermarket tune done locally so the air temps. are in accordance. I hope that makes sence. Good luck...i had GST do my most recent work and they seem to be the best.
