i've been experiencing some problems with my Turbo timer counting down. I have the factory upgrade alarm, and before it works great, no problem, but recently it seems that when the Turbo timer is counting down, my alarm will go off. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks

 

sorry that i didn't clarify. This is the stock alarm upgrade that i have in my car, it was an option that came with the car. I cut the wires according to scoobymods.com on how to install the blitz TT with the factory alarm upgrade. It works like 80% of the time, and the remaining 20% it would do this. Can someone please help me and tell me why this happens? do i have a bad connectiong to something?!?

correct me if i'm wrong, but i do no believe there is a shock sensor on the stock alarm that came with the car. I thought it was only aftermarket alarms that had this feature. much like remote start or rolling up your windows when u lock the car. Sorry if i was unclear

 

Yup... If I remember correctly. Its located under the drivers side right arm rest, or behind the emergency brake lever. Its a little black box, about the size of a pack of smokes, and has wires plugged into it. It has a little white plastic screw for sensitivity adjustment.

 

oh wow, i never knew that. so if i was to turn sensitivity all the way up, and i kicked my door when the car is armed, it'll go off? or if i was to kick the bumper or something? is that how it works? cuz my friends car, the alarm will go off, if someone was to push his mirror in.
