Are you on stock turbo?
the Internal wastegate is fine
I should not even going to comment on the BOV question, BUT I hear Subaru makes a prety good BPV, and it's already on your car for free!
There saved you come money

A non-recirculating blowoff valve vents air already metered by the factory mass air flow sensor. This can cause a decrease in fuel economy and less than optimal air/fuel ratios for the engine. The factory recirculating bypass valve performs the same function but redirects the air back into the into intake path so air/fuel ratio remains metered accurately by the ECU. Aftermarket blowoff valves add no power increase over the factory item unless the engine is extensively modified for much higher boost pressure that exceeds the capacity (internal spring pressure) of the bypass valve.
