Whats the most single .....

Expensive stuff you have spent on a single Item?

For me It was Bride seats $980 plus seat rail $280=1260 oh thats not including tax

im hella poor now

I'd have to say the $10,000 Custom carbon fiber tandem bicycle we carry in the back of our WRX wagon!

curious about the bike too. who built it? we have a carbon frame maker here in maine called Aegis. they make some nice frames. but who makes a custom tandem road frame?

my most expensive were my Mille Miglia wheels with yokohama tires. $950 from tirerack.com. tirerack is awesome by the way.

It's a Calfee, www.calfeedesign.com. Made in Santa Cruz, CA.
Chromalusion paint and a nice parts selection borught the price tag up a bit on ours.
Frame and fork go for $6,205.

$10K for a bicycle!?!?

I guess it's totally justified if you're into that sort of thing.

Here's my $10K bicycle. (tad over $10K anyways)

And I don't even have to pedal.

Yes Shyong,
But you don't get as much exercise either, and you can cream yourself a lot worse at 100 mph than 20-30. ; )

You certainly have a valid point.

However, I figure spandex or leather...it's all the same. Just don't wear spandex going 100mph.

i have seen a Calfee road frame b4, when i worked in a bike shop. a guy from hollywood had one. very nice quality.
