What ECU and Harness

I need to find an ECU and harness for my engine to run on the dyno; so I don't have to pull out my ECU and harness. I have a 98 2.5 RS. Will the ECU and wiring harness from a forester or legacy GT work? Also, I called a junkyard and found an ECU for a 98 2.5 but no wiring harness, he gave me this number and said to check it. 22611AD810 What does that number mean and are all the DOHC 2.5 ECU's the same? Please let me know....someone!

you need to take out your ecu and write down the number. it will be just as long as the one he gave, but it might be different. you will need to know that number to find another corresponding ecu. not all the numbers are the same, but that doesn't always matter. as far as the harness, i think a GT might be the same, but not 100% sure. the ecu is located on the passenger side, where you would rest your feet. take the carpet out, and take off the shield. and there she be. just in case you didn't know.
