What do you guys do about, you know, maniacs?
Made a right turn into some traffic and as usual had to get over two lanes quick for an upcoming left. Long columns of cars to my left, both front and back, except for a 50-60 foot gap between a guy in a pickup about 20 feet ahead. The guy figured out that I needed to get in and floored it. Course that was quite irrelevant to my Stage II WRX, which scooted effortlessly through the hole with 20 feet to spare in front of Mr. Pickup.
However, this ticked him off to no end. He followed me around the corner for multiple blocks, leaning on his horn madly and making a fool of himself. Pure, testosterone-filled rage.
It's been more than 10 years since a guy got ticked off because I got in front of him- that time with well over 50 feet to spare, and broke my windshield with a pipe before I managed to pull away. Of course I ignored the cretin this time, and traffic was too dense to just blow past him.
My question is this. This happened down in Las Cruces NM and the other event with the pipe happened in Albuquerque. Do you see this sort of insanity where you are? I'm not willing to put myself in the position of waiting for the gigantic column of 20+ cars to go by while I sit as a standstill, just in case the guy I need to get in front of might be a maniac.

I had some guy in a truck try to seriously run my car off the highway 3 or 4 times because he thought I stopped a little to fast in front of him a mile back before the highway began.
I tried to get past him a couple times, but the 90hp 1994 Saturn I was in at the time just couldn't do it.
Eventually I stopped behind him about 100 feet, waited for a minute, he got tired of waiting for me and sped off. I honestly felt that guy was trying to kill me simply because he was following too close when I stopped.
People are jerks, its best to just avoid them as much as possible.

i had some retard try to follow me around when i had my neon, i coulda easily toasted him, but instead, i decided to drive back the opposite direction he was going all the way for a good 40 miles, then toasted him, left him 40 miles further than where he was supposed to be going, what a maroon

i had some guy follow me around for 20 minutes, so i stopped and asked him what is probem was, he thought i flipped him off at a 4-way stop, which i didnt, didnt have any reason to. i told him i didnt and he kept yelling at me (i never got out of my car, we were actually rolling at about 10 mph talking between the 2 cars) then i did flip him off after he called me a dozen and a half names (one of which was oregon punk, i have oregon plates on my car even though i stay in cali) and i proceeded to dust him...bwahahahaha wrx power!!!

one time this guy in a 69 camaro was cruising along on the freeway at about 55 mph in the fast lane, taking his sweet time. there were no cars in front of him for about quarter mile. i was behind him for about 5 minutes before i had a chance to go around him. big mistake. how he wasnt the king of the fast lane, and stayed on my *** for the following 10 miles. he wouldnt let up. really weird guy.
Just watch it for a green truck, it was on the news that someone cut him off in a Prelude. He pulled up off exiting the freeway, and said "You think you can cut anyone off?" And the guy in the Prelude said "I guess so". He was with his GF at the time. The passenger in the green truck killed them both. This happened about a month ago. Be careful. Use that stage 2 to run away from him.

How can someone make another person THAT mad when driving... I have my road rage, but it stays with me, I will say, wtf is this person doing..etc, "get off my ***" but that is what I say t myself, I never ride on peoples' asses or yell at them, that's crazy.
This one time I was driving in a mall parking lot, 3 lanes, far left turns left, middle stays straight and right turns right... make a long story short I almost got SIDESWIPED by an idiot with 4 people in her car, she was in the far right lane and decided to just swerve on over into the far left lane, which I was in... If I didn't slam the brakes on she would have hit me... I of couse was holding the horn while she was coming right next to me... but it was like she wasn't paying attention or didn't see my bright *** sonic yellow car beeping at her??? I had all my windows down, and I heard the guy in the back say "don't go so fast" I then replied, you are in the wrong, you just swerved over without a damn blinker and you still arn't paying attention because you just cut me off... He then proceedes to get out of the car along with his white trash buddies and I have three people no more than 8 feet from my drivers side door... Needless to say my left leg was shaking because I have NEVER been in a situation like that before... I rolled up all my windows, locked the doors and turned my head the other way until they left....
Scary **** out there, people are phsyco....
That's my little story and I hope that crap never happens to me again, I need some sort of a club in my car...lol
