You can get a p/s pump for aboht 500 from subi genuine parts if you can diy. Also, try replacing the pump first. There is an o ring in it that cant cause bad issues as it lets in cobstant air bubbles. I just had that same isse. May save you a little bit.

 

Funny that you say that. My friends neighbor said bring it over let me see what its doing. He handed me the O-ring and it was hard/flat. Replaced it and car is good as new. Screw dealerships!

The same happened to me, I bought 69 cent o-ring, took me 5 minutes to replace it...voila, problem fixed!
Bro, before you start spending money on ur car, google the problem first, It will save you lots of $$$$

 

Good to hear it was an easy cheap fix.

I had alot of things wrong when I purchased my 05 wrx. Turbo out hose blew off on my way home, 3 port boost sylinoid and not tuned for it, etc etc. Had it all repaird so I know how frusterating it can be.
