Tuning, where do i go?!

hey guys, havent been on in years, and apparently my original account got deleted because i hadnt logged in in so long, but what happened to all the shops i used to shop at ?! looks like everyones gone?

so where do i get dyno tuned now???? i'm in SJ and i dont really care about driving somewhere, i got a 2005 WRX, but i'm going to order the 2011 STi in a couple months, im definitely gonna stick with Cobb, and get the V2, im still rockin the V1 on my wrx which just shows you how long i havent been in the tuning game, but yeah, if you guys can give me some suggestions on where to get tuning done relatively close to me that would be great

EDIT: now live in Castro Valley and I now have my 2011 STi :-) !!!

Drive up to EQ Tuning, also if you don't plan of map switching you don't really need a Cobb AP, go with a open source tune (tunes your stock ECU) You can save that $500 and put it to a nice catback exhaust or some sway bars...

sweet thanks guys, looks like gst and eqtuning are the top subaru tuners in the are, i havent heard of EQ, where are they located?

I did a built STi hybrid block into my bugeye with EQ tuning.. Money well spent. Before this thread turns ugly .. IBTL haha.

hmm well then, EQ it is i guess, im ordering the 2011 STi sedan in August

whens the best time to throw the Cobb AP on, obviously after the motors broken in, im thinkin ill probably buy it around 5000 miles?

EQ tuning, you wont regret it theyre nice peeps theres plus you even have a choice on how aggressive you want your tuning with limits ofcourse. Cool guys there thats for sure they are really honest on what you think you should do/need to get the best tune possible. plus its and road tune and they REALLY take their time. Cant ask for more bro
