I have e-mailed subaru twice and from the first one (about two months ago) they tell me that thier is no planes for for an sti tribeca.
Well my plan is to keep e-mailing them and see what happens. I would love for subaru to make an sti tribeca. I was thinking that at a minimum they would twin turbo the flat 6 to the tune of 320hp and back that up with the dccd 6 speed or the 5 speed auto it comes with. I think this suv has the potential to be comparable to the cayanne turbo s maybe not with 320hp but with mods (hehe) it would get thier. Would any body else buy a sti tribeca, I would.

I would sell my impreza if they ever did that. SUV'S ARE NOT NORE WILL EVER BE PERFORMANCE ONROAD VEHICLES. the trabecas are uglier than the 06 impreza whitch is quite an acheavement. Its an insult that Subaru would make an suv in the first place.
All of this is just my bitter oppinion

now the real question is would you buy it, I sure as hell would. I think the niche gt suv market could be a hugh success for subaru, not to mention the usa would be getting the cream of the crop from subaru.
