Tire rotation

When should i do this? I have about 6k miles on it. I got my oil changed at 3k with synthetic and i am not due till 8k. Should I get my tires rotated when i get my oil changed? And also, should I bother with the services that SOA recommend to be done? I am thinking about going to the 15k service and have them rotate my tires again and have another oil change...

Remember, only switch your fronts with your rears, don't go side to side.
why not? isnt it standard practice to criss-cross? oh, this must be with non-stock re-92's or on any car with directional tires

Read your hand book, Front with rears. Don't criss-cross.

the front to back and not criss crossing the tires is due to the awd layout. its different than fwd, rwd, and 4wd vehicles

I thought AWD and 4 wheel drive is the same? My dad's jeep grand cherokee is always in 4 wheel drive, you can't change it from 2 wheel to 4 wheel, it's either 4 wheel, Netural or 4-low, so to me I always thought that was all wheel drive...?

i heard along time ago. Companies classify awd with cars and 4wd with trucks. Something about awd you get different power ratios i.e. 40% power to the front tires and 60% to the rear tires. whereas 4wd the front and back are distributed evenly. as far as rotating your tires i always did front to back and back cris cross to front. unless you have bigger meat in the back.
