Best place for tire rotation

Best place for tire rotation
Just wondering where is the best place to get tires rotated...in terms of quality and price. I called America's Tire and they wanted $30 for it. And while I'm at it...what's the best place for alignment too. And just one other question...what do you guys torque the lug nuts to...if you do it at all??? Thanks guys.

rotate the tires ur self, its easy...its just taking off wheels and putting them back on... $30 seems high for a rotation though.
btw if u absolutly HAVE TO take it to a shop and u don't feel like doing it yourself u can go to ANY shop and they can rotate tires for u.

I go to americas tire co for balancing/rotations, but for me its free since I got my tires there.
Alignments.....I went to the subaru dealership...but I am sure there are other places that are cheaper
and My lugs get torqued to about 95-100 ft/lbs
some people go as low as 85 ft/lbs....but thats kinda low for your wheels....I dont want MY wheels coming off on the freeway...

Those Torque settings are excessive. Both Subaru dealerships and America's Tire agree that 70ft/lbs is all any Subaru wheel needs and they are not going anywhere, no matter what kind of driving you throw at them. 95-100 ft/lbs is likely to damage the wheel studs and make them so only Superman can get the lugs off without an impact wrench.

I believe 78ft/lbs is the recommended settings, torquing them down at 95 or 100 can risk warping the rotors.
